I don’t like your milk tea

it’s got a strange aftertaste

the pearls are mushy,

and the flavors don’t blend well.

I despise how green it is,

how much of it I can see

staining your rosy lips;

I hate that soggy paper straw,

how tasteless and mushy it must be

rubbing against the walls of your cheeks;

that cup has no grip to it,

your supple and silky hand

needs a cozy warmth.

Punt that worthless garbage,

you wasted your 100 for that?

Come here, close your eyes —

I’ll give you something for free.
