To kickstart the last day of Psychology Week 2023, faculty and students from the UST Psychology Department marched around the campus last March 3 for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Walk.
With the UST main building as the starting and ending point, the students and staff made their way around Benavides Park while cheering and encouraging the message of caring for one’s mental health.
Each psychology block section showcased slogans and speeches that advocate for mental health and well-being.
Since 2019, Mental Health Awareness Walk is an annual event led by the UST Psychology Society which aims to promote an understanding on important issues surrounding mental health. This is the second time that it was celebrated onsite.
