Psychology Week concluded with a dazzling musical and get-together event, Solana 2024: A Golden Soirée. Held on February 23 at the UST Seminary Gym from 11 AM to 3 PM, the concert captivated audiences with its fusion of talent and celebration.

Organized as the finale of a week-long series of activities dedicated to exploring various facets of psychology, Solana 2024 provided a platform for students to unwind and indulge in the magic of music and socializing. The event was a collaboration between the UST Psychology Society and several student organizations, showcasing the university’s vibrant community spirit.

Attendees were treated to an array of performances from the UST Psychology Dance Troupe (Archetypes), the Psychology Talent Pool, and the Editorial Board. The first and second-year students, followed by the third and fourth-year students launched the event with their Advocacy Cheers.

The first to perform in the event was Archetypes followed by the Salo-Salo where merienda was served. The attendees were also able to engage with the open mic where they were allowed to sing. There was also a spontaneous get-together during Salo-Salo where everyone danced and sang to Dancing Queen by Abba. The Psychology Talent Pool and the Editorial Board then gave special dance performances.

Towards the end of the event, a legacy video featured a recap of the activities throughout the Psychology week.

Solana 2024 served as a testament to the resilience and creativity of the UST community, demonstrating how music and camaraderie can serve as powerful antidotes to stress and uncertainty. As attendees bid farewell to Psychology Week, they carried with them not only cherished memories but also a renewed sense of unity and purpose.

As the curtains closed on Psychology Week 2024, Solana left a legacy of joy, connection, and celebration, embodying the spirit of UST and the enduring legacy of Psychology Week.
