UST Psychology students commemorated the end of Psychology Week 2023 with SOLANA: Solace through PSYning at Agham, an event that showcased talents of psychology students and other local artists, last March 3 at the UST Frassati Auditorium.
Rodajem Callo from 4P1 and Sam Cruz from 4P6 served as the main hosts of the event.
UST Psychology Society Secretary Aaliyah Tacandong shared in her opening remarks her appreciation and gratitude to the people who made the event possible onsite after three years.
Featured performers for this year’s SOLANA are: Papapeta, Saving Sunday, Colinas, Fourtes, UST Psychology Talent Pool, and UST Archetypes. Artists performed various song covers as well as their original songs, respectively.
In her closing remarks, UST Psychology Society President Aivi Vicente extended her gratitude to all the performers, the staff, organizers, and faculty for the success of Psychology Week 2023. “I want to encourage all of us to continue to seek out and cultivate positive support systems in our lives. Let’s lean on each other, inspire each other and lift each other up as we navigate the complexities of life,” she further added.
Assistant Professor Eric L. Dimar, UST Psychology Society Adviser, capped off the event with a message encouraging students to “enjoy the ride” of their life, despite the challenges that come along their way.
