๐ฆ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฎ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ป delves into Filipino psychology

Continuing with the events of Psych Week 2024, the UST Psychology Society held โSinta, Para Naman sa Bahayโ which took psychology students to an exploration of Filipino nationalism and patriotism at the Central Lab Auditorium from 2 pm to 5 pm on February 20, 2024.
Speakers Mx. Carl Cervantes and Ms. Laeilani Arocha delved into the aspects of collectivism and individualism present in Filipino society, spotlighting the reasons for the current divide among Filipinos in terms of their culture and beliefs. Furthermore, discussed were paths that the students can take in order to make a change within the current national environment.
Sikolohiyang Pilipino is advocated through these talks, highlighting how Filipino archetypes, cultural roles, and experiences affect an individualโs nationalistic beliefs.
During the intermissions, the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe and UST College of Science Glee Club showcased their talents and prowess through their performances.
